well i went to kebab king it's a great Indian restaurant and has delightful food over there so try going there

Hunn, NYC is not really known for its food. For fine cuisine you should head to New Orleans!

The Rainbow Room. It is at 30 Rock. Tell any cab driver they will know where it is. It is a great place to eat and afterwards, walk around and see some great sites.

avoid restaurants in Times Square like the clap (Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Hard Rock Cafe, etc.). They tend to be overpriced and the food is terrible because there's so many tourists rotating through.

go to www.yelp.com and www.zagat.com. both have really good suggestions/reviews of restaurants, get a subway map when you're in the city and you'll be able to get anywhere.
